We’ve made some changes on how we add up the Popularity scores. A star indicator in your profile shows your overall “popularity” on Mischmasch. We add up the votes you receive for each work uploaded (obviously), but from now on you’ll also receive one point every time you vote for someone else’s work, and one point for every comment and forum post. This way your activity on Mischmasch directly affects your popularity. What goes around comes around :)

From now on new comments will now be featured on the POPULAR and NEW pages, along with a link to your name and where the comment was made. It looks like this…..
